Dear Dylan,

I know you haven’t arrived yet but I want you to know that there is not a second that goes by that I don’t already wish you were here. Like all things in life, there is  always time and you’re only 29 weeks so far, so have a couple more weeks to go till we meet each other. I feel your kicks a lot more now and sometimes even your baby hiccups. (Least that’s what the doctor told me, so cute!) It’s amazing how you haven’t arrived yet and I already love you so much. That’s when you realize that love is truly born from within. You’ve become everything most important in my life. I know it’s cheesy to say, but you’ve saved me. Before all this, I was completely lost. There were times I would spend my days completely numb from anything good in the world. Bland is the best word to describe it. Lifeless, dull, meaningless… I could go on, on about how I had no drive to even get up in the morning, but you… you’ve changed it all without even knowing it. You’ve allowed me to escape from my sedentary and somewhat meaningless life, into a spectrum of color and light I never knew I had within me. Suddenly, those notes on the calender are crossing out. My yearning for doing what i never had the drive to, is overflowing with joy and amazement. I’ve learned to follow my faith and God’s path and am finding God in every single heartbeat, every movement and every wonderful thing life has to offer. You’ve revived every molecule of my being and I thank God each and every day for allowing me to be a mother soon. One day, when you grow old and find that life isn’t what everyone has promised you all these years, I want you to look outside and find the vitality and simplicity of life. We’re all born fighters and I promise you, from my heart, you’re a champion. I love you, and soon I’ll be able to look into your little eyes and show you that we were made for each other. <3 xo
